Company Overview:

FirstCash is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support and enhance our compliance monitoring and control efforts. This role is a key part of our commitment to upholding regulatory standards, ethical practices, and effective risk management across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and continuously improving the compliance monitoring process.
• Execute compliance controls testing, transactional testing, or monitoring activities per the defined testing plan.
• Provide detailed, objective compliance analysis and high-quality supporting reports, workpapers, and documentation.
• Develop effective working relationships with management, business and technology process owners, and Internal Audit.
• Inform management of significant compliance matters requiring attention or action.
• Assess risk in business decisions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Adhere to policy and ethical standards in behavior, conduct, and decision-making, including transparency in managing and reporting control issues.
• Assist in developing and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Understanding of applicable rules, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with auditing principles, including planning, risk assessments, transactional testing, and reporting.
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with both executive and non-executive stakeholders across business lines.
• Ability to recommend pragmatic and effective risk and control solutions.
• Self-starter who is flexible, innovative, and adaptable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in consumer finance preferred.
• Experience in testing roles within finance, compliance, internal or external audit, quality control, or risk management preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
