Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and customer-driven team member to join our retail operations. In this role, you will engage with customers, process transactions, and help maintain an organized, welcoming store environment.

• Provide excellent service by greeting customers and assisting with purchases or financial transactions

• Conduct pawn, purchase, and sales transactions in accordance with company guidelines

• Keep merchandise displays organized, stocked, and visually appealing

• Perform store opening and closing tasks, including managing cash and securing inventory

• Clearly communicate the terms of transactions to customers to ensure legal compliance

• Respond to phone inquiries with professionalism and accurate information

• Handle various types of merchandise such as jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (as applicable)

• Collaborate with team members to deliver a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience

• Complete all required training and follow company policies and operational standards

Required Skills and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks including standing, stooping, and climbing

• Comfortable handling firearms and open to certification where applicable

• Basic math ability and prior experience handling cash preferred

• Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced retail setting

• Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic office technology

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and at different store locations if needed

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales

• Background in pawn, jewelry, or financial service industries is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $10.00 to $13.00, depending on your experience and store location, with additional earnings potential through commissions.

• Commission plan offering up to 8% of gross profit, with average bonuses boosting hourly pay by $2.84
