Planet Fitness is hiring for Member Services Associate

The Member Services Associate's role entails ensuring a favorable member experience through delivering excellent customer service to Planet Fitness members, potential members, and visitors.

Required tasks and responsibilities

• Welcome individuals, potential new members, and visitors with outstanding client assistance.

Handle all front desk related activities including:

• Respond to telephone calls with a welcoming attitude and help individuals with a range of inquiries.
• Register individuals within the system.
• New member sign-up.
• Give tours to potential new members.
• Assist in making necessary modifications to the accounts of members.

• Address member inquiries and issues promptly and with a high level of professionalism; refer to higher management when necessary.
• Help in upholding the tidiness and sanitation of the club facilities.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience in customer service is desired.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A strong enthusiasm for physical wellness and well-being.
• A positive and optimistic demeanor.
• Being on time and dependable is essential.
• Outstanding ability in customer service; effectively engaging in positive and professional interactions with colleagues and clients, surpassing customer satisfaction levels.
• Proficient in attentive listening with the capacity to understand and offer solutions with empathy.
• Display tact and professionalism in every interaction, employing suitable conduct and communication skills.
• Completion of high school or its equivalent, such as a GED, is a prerequisite.
• Individuals must be at least 18 years old to participate.

Physical Demands

• Consistent upright posture and moving throughout the work period.
• Persistent conversation in person or over the phone throughout the work period.
• Must have the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a sporadic basis.
• Toxic substances may be encountered on occasion while on duty.
