The Gym Fitness Coach is in charge of leading the PE@PF group fitness program at Planet Fitness, helping new members accomplish their fitness aspirations by devising personalized exercise routines and providing guidance on equipment utilization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the operations of the PE@PF program at Planet Fitness, which includes establishing and maintaining the program's timetable.
• Communicate with clients about their fitness aims and guide them on the appropriate and secure operations of exercise machines.
• Provide bi-weekly exercise summaries showcasing achievements and advancements.
• Ensure that the club meets its obligations in terms of size and member engagement.

Assist with front desk activities, including:

• Fielding calls with a pleasant attitude and aiding individuals with their queries.
• Enrolling new members into the system.
• New member sign-up.
• Conducting tours for potential recruits.
• Timely and professional handling of member questions and concerns, with the ability to escalate to the Assistant Manager or Manager if necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness.
• Displaying a buoyant and constructive outlook.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Possesses excellent customer service capabilities; skilled at interacting positively and professionally with both patrons and coworkers.
• Exceptional at listening attentively and offering solutions with empathy and understanding.
• Demonstrates tact and professionalism in all engagements by utilizing suitable behavior and communication.
• Candidates need to have a currently active CPR Certification for this role.
• You must have a National Certification Training Certificate.
• A GED or high school diploma is a required qualification.
• In order to take part, individuals need to have reached the age of 18 or above.

Physical Demands:

• Consistent standing and walking required throughout the duration of the shift.
• Continuous communication in person or over the telephone while working.
• Required to lift objects up to 50 lbs periodically.
• Chance of coming into contact with toxic compounds during shifts.
