About the Role:

We are in need of a Fitness Facility General Manager to join our team! The main duties of the General Manager include managing all gym operations and making sure members have exceptional experiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Skillfully supervise, communicate with, nurture, and instruct the employees including Assistant General Managers, Front Desk Associates, Overnight Front Desk Associates, Cleaners, and Trainers
• Timely and respectfully address any problematic situations within the club environment that involve employees and members, providing effective solutions to mitigate issues
• Foster a culture of acceptance and non-judgment that encourages personal growth and self-acceptance
• Encourage community engagement with the Planet Fitness brand by hosting events and promotions in the area
• Make certain that daily deposits are completed accurately and promptly
• Ensure that rules and regulations are being followed accordingly
• Supervise the effectiveness and productivity of staff members
• Ensure the management of inventory to maintain the availability of ordered supplies
• Develop and regulate staff rosters while handling payroll expenditure
• Conduct self-inspections
• Finish required PF/PFU coursework and in-service instructional programs
• Encourage the development of solid connections and efficient teamwork in the team
• Providing constructive feedback to inspire and assist in boosting staff performance
• Keep yourself informed and follow the company's policies and protocols

Qualifications:

• Capacity to juggle various duties effectively
• Demonstrating strong decision-making abilities involves making sound judgments and choices based on critical thinking
• Initiative-driven and can thrive with limited oversight
• Core competencies in computer operation, numerical concepts, and interpersonal interaction
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Training for CPR/AED certification is offered as needed
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age to take part
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Focused on objectives with excitement and vitality
• Capacity to move to alternative clubs when necessary
• Exceptional talent in customer support
• Truthful, timely, and trustworthy
• Effective capacity for active listening and showing understanding
• Display finesse when communicating with different individuals
• Sought-after: Two years of experience in a leadership role within a busy setting

Physical Demands:

• Maintaining a standing or walking position for extended periods while working
• Consistent communication via phone or direct interaction throughout the duration of shifts
• Able to handle objects weighing as much as 60 lbs

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 yearly
