Role and Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Retail Management Trainee Associate to support daily operations and build leadership skills necessary for advancement into a Store Manager position. Core responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and effectively handling customer concerns

• Assisting with team member development through training, coaching, and performance support

• Contributing to the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new employees

• Managing store open/close procedures, daily cash operations, and loan transactions

• Analyzing financial reports to help drive revenue and manage expenses

• Overseeing inventory control, product displays, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment

• Filling in as acting manager during the Store Manager’s absence

• Participating in ongoing training and leadership development to prepare for future promotion

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or retail management role

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Availability to work a flexible schedule (45+ hours/week), including weekends and holidays

• Must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

• Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions

• Ability to multitask and operate efficiently in a high-paced retail environment

• Willingness to travel to different store locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply

• Experience with firearms handling or relevant certifications is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $18.00–$24.00, based on experience and location

• Commission: Earn up to 8% of gross profit, with an average additional $4.21/hour

• Performance Incentives: Based on store results and key performance indicators

Paid Time Off:

• 1 week after 6 months of employment

• 2 weeks after 1 year

• Up to 120 hours annually after 5 years

Sick/Personal Leave:

• 8 hours after 6 months

• 16 hours per year from years 2 to 5

• 24 hours per year after 5 years
