Planet Fitness is hiring for Gym Facility Cleaner

It is the responsibility of the Gym Facility Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the facility, creating a secure, sanitary, and positive experience for Planet Fitness members and guests during overnight shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough cleansing and sanitizing routine for restrooms, locker rooms, gym floors, and fitness apparatus.
• Stock up on necessary items for locker rooms, such as paper products and soap.
• Promptly alert the Club Manager of any amenities or equipment that are broken or missing, such as toilets, showers, or gym machinery.
• Adhere to the guidelines provided in the Lost and Found Policy by turning in any found items to either the Club Manager or the Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Having worked in custodial or janitorial positions previously is preferred.
• The role necessitates reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work during the third shift.
• Illustrating a strong sense of industry combined with a commitment to ethical conduct and trustworthiness.
• Having the competency to work alone and think quickly to solve problems.
• Displaying professionalism and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Anyone under 18 years of age is ineligible to take part in this.
• Candidates must demonstrate proof of a High School diploma or an acceptable GED equivalent.

Physical Demands

• A continuous ability to stand and walk is a must for this position.
• Prolonged reaching movements involving hands, fingers, and arms.
• Random involvement in tasks such as climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching.
• Capable of occasionally moving items weighing over 80 pounds.
• Direct involvement with cleaning agents and elements.
