Planet Fitness is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you'll help create a clean, welcoming, and judgment-free environment for our members and guests. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility while delivering top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Club Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, gym equipment, and floors per company standards.

• Stock locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.

• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.

• Report any broken or missing equipment or amenities to management.

• Follow Planet Fitness’ Lost and Found policy.

• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the Club Manager.

Member Experience

• Provide exceptional customer service in a Judgement Free Zone®.

• Interact professionally with members and guests to maintain a friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

• Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate communication at all times.

• Must pass a 7-year criminal background check (for overnight roles).

Physical Demands & Environment

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, lift, and reach throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs.

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.

• Must be physically capable of administering CPR in emergencies.

• Visual and auditory ability to perform job duties with or without correction.
