Planet Fitness is hiring for Customer Service Member Representative
As a Customer Service Member Representative at Planet Fitness, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our members, prospective members, and guests. Your friendly and professional approach will help maintain the Judgement Free Zone® culture while providing excellent customer service and supporting daily front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and inviting atmosphere.
Handle front desk duties such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting with member check-ins.
Support new member sign-ups and guide prospective members through club tours.
Facilitate updates and changes to member accounts as needed.
Respond promptly and professionally to member questions or concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club to ensure a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
A genuine passion for fitness, health, and helping others.
Positive, upbeat attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual with strong communication and listening skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism and diplomacy.
Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout your shift.
Comfortable with talking on the phone and in-person communication for extended periods.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals on occasion.
