The primary responsibility of these professionals will be to maintain the trucks, trailers, and yard tractors, ensuring they are in optimal condition, adhere to safety standards, and meet regulatory requirements. Requirements:

• At least one year of prior involvement handling Class A vehicles is required
• Understanding of air brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Previous expertise in welding and fabrication is necessary
• Having prior knowledge in fixing tires, which includes both installing and removing them, is advantageous
• Proficiency in conducting Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections and verifying adherence to regulations

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and fix issues with forklifts, pallet jacks, and caterpillar fork trucks
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic systems, engines, and propulsion mechanisms, as well as inspect and replace parts as needed
• Carry out elementary programming for rolling stock units and maintain or substitute cylinders
• Uphold and service conveyor systems, as well as electrical and mechanical elements
• Diagnose issues with Graphical Monitoring Systems (GMS), sortview controllers, programmable logic controllers, and pick-to-light systems to identify and address problems
• Construct machine components as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the fleet and machinery to prevent potential issues
• Utilize machinery like battery chargers and scrubber/sweeper devices
• Perform regular maintenance on buildings, such as addressing small plumbing and electrical issues like replacing light fixtures
• Maintain and fix racking systems when required
• Consistently follow safety, quality, and productivity guidelines at all times
