Role and Responsibilities

This position plays a vital role in maintaining a customer-focused store atmosphere while supporting daily operations and team growth.

• Deliver outstanding service by professionally interacting with customers and resolving any issues promptly.

• Mentor and guide Pawnbrokers to ensure alignment with company standards and performance goals.

• Attract and recruit candidates using company-approved sourcing methods.

• Perform all opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing inventory.

• Enforce inventory management and asset protection protocols.

• Oversee store merchandising, loan activities, and the overall appearance of the location.

• Monitor financial performance and establish objectives to enhance profitability.

• Ensure all operational procedures adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.

• Accurately evaluate merchandise and confirm proper loan qualifications.

• Step into the leadership role during the Store Manager’s absence.

• Complete ongoing training programs and clearly communicate goals to team members.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least six (6+) months in a supervisory or keyholder role.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience.

• Must be 18 years or older with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties like walking, standing, and climbing.

• Capable of working independently with minimal direction.

• Comfortable with computers and proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Strong multitasking skills with a focus on organization and attention to detail.

• Proven accuracy in managing cash transactions.

• Open to working with firearms and completing certification if needed.

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership, sales management, or inventory oversight.

• Familiarity with setting financial objectives and analyzing profitability.

• Willingness to work at different store locations depending on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay from $17.00 to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications (based on a standard 40-hour workweek).

• Commission potential ranging from 2% to 8%, based on personal gross profit performance.

• Average commission earnings of an additional $3.53 per hour.
