Position Overview:

Being a Warehouse Associate for Dollar General is pivotal in the continuous supply of products to our retail outlets and the overall contentment of our customer base. Participation in a high-energy, team-driven milieu underscores the necessity of meticulousness and a robust professional ethos. Your integral involvement in tasks like inventory handling, order selection, and shipment organization supports the core operations of our establishment.

What You'll Do:

• Receive and Stock: Unload goods, check for any defects, and organize stock in designated spots.
• Order Picking: Correctly choose items through voice-activated or RF technology for fulfilling retail orders.
• Pallet Building: Ensure the careful assembly of pallets to protect the integrity of items while being transported.
• Loading & Shipping: Securely load trailers with outgoing packages to ensure safe transportation.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Abide by safety measures and assist in ensuring a sanitary and orderly warehouse space.
• Teamwork: Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet productivity goals and resolve issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is suggested, though it is not an obligatory qualification.
• Able to lift weights of up to 75 lbs consistently during your shift.
• Capable of maintaining a comfortable posture while standing, walking, and carrying out physical duties throughout the day, lasting between 8 to 10 hours.
• Previous exposure to operating warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts can be beneficial.
• Readiness to develop and adjust in a swiftly evolving atmosphere.
• Only those who have reached the age of 18 or above can participate.
