Role and Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions and assist with merchandise purchases.
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and ensure merchandise displays are well-stocked.
• Open and close store procedures, including handling cash and negotiable items.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions clearly and professionally to customers.
• Answer phone calls and provide information per company standards.
• Work with a variety of products including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (where applicable).
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training successfully and adhere to all company compliance standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and standard office machines.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and multiple store locations as needed.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or sales experience.
• Experience in pawn, jewelry, or financial services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay from $10.00 to $13.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
• Commission plan offering up to 8% of gross profit on transactions, potentially adding an average of $2.84 per hour.
