Role and Responsibilities:

As a Clean Team Member, you will support store initiatives and enhance guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, merchandising, and high-margin product readiness. You will follow company procedures and work collaboratively with store leadership to ensure a top-tier customer experience.

• Deliver customer service with a "how may I help you" attitude and actively look for opportunities to delight guests.
• Keep coolers, fast lane merchandise, store shelves, and displays fully stocked and fronted at all times.
• Clean and maintain store equipment and prepare high-margin products such as coffee and fountain drinks.
• Clean windows, floors, shelving, counters, gas pumps, and restrooms according to daily checklist procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot and grounds as needed.
• Notify store management of any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety rules and demonstrate safe working habits.
• Utilize the Customer Service Department appropriately for handling customer service issues.
• Stay informed on all policies applicable to the Clean Team Member role via Thorntons Intranet.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to speak, read, understand, and write in English.
• High energy and strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to climb ladders to clean windows, stock shelves, and make price changes.
• Accurately record time using the TOTS system and verify all hours worked.
• Understand and follow company guidelines regarding the use of company funds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience is considered but not required.
