Planet Fitness is hiring for Facility Maintenance Worker

During overnight shifts, the Facility Maintenance Worker must ensure that all areas within the facility are kept clean and organized, contributing to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for patrons and visitors at Planet Fitness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Properly disinfect and keep restrooms, locker rooms, gym floors, and fitness gear spotless.
• Re-supply locker rooms with necessary provisions like paper products and soap.
• Make sure to promptly communicate to the Club Manager any broken or absent amenities or tools, such as toilets, showers, or gym equipment.
• Abide by the protocol set forth in the Lost and Found Policy by handing over any found items to the Club Manager or the Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• It is ideal for applicants to have previous custodial or janitorial experience.
• The position mandates reliability, timeliness, and a willingness to work the third shift.
• Reflecting a robust dedication to labor with a focus on transparency and moral values.
• Showing the ability to operate independently and tackle challenges immediately.
• Showing professionalism and excellent interpersonal aptitude.
• A minimum age requirement of 18 years is necessary for participation.
• The minimum educational requirement is a High School diploma or an equivalent GED qualification.

Physical Demands

• Must have the capacity to continuously be on foot and move around during working hours.
• Continuous use of hands, fingers, and arms for reaching.
• Infrequent instances of climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching movements.
• Capable of occasionally handling objects that are heavier than 80 pounds.
• Exposure to cleansers and compounds.
