Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will foster a positive, customer-focused environment while supporting daily store operations and team development.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging professionally and resolving concerns promptly.
- Provide guidance and training to Pawnbrokers to ensure adherence to FirstCash standards.
- Recruit new team members through approved company channels.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including handling cash and securing merchandise.
- Enforce inventory control and asset protection protocols.
- Manage merchandising, loan processing, and in-store presentation standards.
- Evaluate financial reports and establish objectives to boost store profitability.
- Maintain operational excellence in alignment with company expectations.
- Ensure loan qualifications and merchandise valuation are accurate and consistent.
- Serve as the acting manager during the Store Manager’s absence.
- Complete ongoing training and communicate store goals to the team effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least six (6+) months of management or third key holder experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be 18 years or older with availability to work varied retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as walking, standing, and climbing.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using POS systems.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
- Proven experience handling cash transactions.
- Comfortable working with firearms and willing to complete certification if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in retail leadership, inventory management, or sales.
- Familiarity with setting financial goals or analyzing profit margins.
- Flexibility to work at multiple store locations based on operational needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $21.00, depending on experience and qualifications (based on a 40-hour workweek).
- Commission opportunities from 2% to 8% based on individual gross profit performance.
- Average additional earnings of $3.53 per hour through commissions.
