Managing the club involves overseeing its day-to-day activities and long-term success, coordinating staff schedules, and developing promotional strategies. The Fitness Center Manager should exhibit strong leadership skills, a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, and a continuous drive for team improvement. This position demands a detail-oriented, enthusiastic leader with a focus on maintaining a thriving gym environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out the process of enlisting, employing, educating, arranging work shifts, and managing the supervision of club staff.
• Make sure that every staff member delivers a top-notch experience to members on a regular basis.
• Assist with in-person front desk tasks: welcoming visitors, leading facility tours, managing requests, and addressing any issues that arise.
• Ensure the club space is clean, inviting, and encouraging.
• Supervise and guide team performance to uphold the set service and operational expectations of the organization.
• Ensure the gym adheres to the designated opening and closing times promptly.
• Provide training to staff regarding ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Conclude the managerial onboarding section within Paycom for new hires.
• Manage the workforce to maintain sufficient coverage for the club at all times.
• Implement and set an example for adhering to the regulations, processes, and moral principles of the company.
• Take charge of the ordering process for club supplies and maintain control over inventory levels.

Minimum Qualifications

• Upholding principles of honesty, dependability, and ethical conduct in one's job performance.
• Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrating robust leadership capabilities, exceptional customer support, and adept organizational skills.
• Superb verbal and written interaction abilities.
• Entry-level proficiency in computer literacy, specifically in the use of Microsoft Office or analogous programs.

Physical Demands

• Walking and standing must be possible for a significant portion of every shift.
• Effective communication in a clear and professional manner is required during the majority of the work hours, whether engaging with individuals directly or through telephone conversations.
• The lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds is a sporadic duty, not exceeding 30% of the total tasks.
