Role and Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Store Operations Trainee Supervisor to help oversee daily operations while developing the leadership skills needed for promotion to a Store Manager role. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns in a timely manner

• Assisting with training, mentoring, and supporting team members to meet performance goals

• Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees

• Executing store opening and closing duties, managing cash flow, and processing loan transactions

• Interpreting financial reports to identify opportunities for revenue and profit growth

• Managing inventory accuracy, merchandising, and overall store cleanliness and organization

• Serving as the acting Store Manager in their absence

• Completing leadership development and training initiatives in preparation for future advancement

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory or management role

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of 45+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays

• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Comfortable with POS systems and cash handling procedures

• Skilled at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced retail environment

• Open to working at multiple store locations if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

• Experience handling firearms or related certifications is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $18.00–$24.00, depending on experience and store location

• Commission: Up to 8% of gross profit, with average additional earnings of $4.21/hour

• Performance Bonuses: Based on meeting store performance metrics

Paid Time Off:

• 1 week after 6 months of service

• 2 weeks after 1 year

• Up to 120 hours annually after 5 years

Sick/Personal Leave:

• 8 hours after 6 months

• 16 hours annually from years 2 to 5

• 24 hours per year after 5 years
