The main task of the Cleaning Attendant is to preserve cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring a secure, healthy, and welcoming space for members and guests of Planet Fitness, particularly during late-night hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness by sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, gym flooring, and fitness equipment diligently.
• Replenish essential supplies in locker rooms, such as paper products and soap.
• Quickly notify the Club Manager of any missing or damaged facilities or gear, like restrooms, showers, or exercise machines.
• Follow the rules established in the Lost and Found Policy by relinquishing any discovered property to the Club Manager or the Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preference is given to individuals with prior custodial or janitorial experience.
• Essential attributes for this job include being trustworthy, punctual, and available for overnight shifts.
• Emphasizing a solid commitment to diligence while upholding principles of honesty and sincerity.
• Displaying self-reliance in work and the skill to troubleshoot effectively.
• Conducting oneself in a professional manner while excelling in interpersonal interactions.
• Participation is restricted to individuals who have reached the age of majority, which is 18 years old.
• A High School diploma or a GED of equal standing is mandatory for this position.

Physical Demands

• The job mandates being able to stand and walk without interruption throughout the shift.
• Frequently extending arms, fingers, and hands.
• Sporadic engagement in climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching postures.
• Ability to intermittently lift loads that exceed 80 pounds.
• Connection with disinfectants and solutions.
