Planet Fitness is hiring for Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all areas within the facility, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and positive environment for Planet Fitness members and guests during overnight hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, gym floor, and fitness equipment.

• Restock locker rooms with necessary supplies (e.g., paper products, soap).

• Promptly report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, showers, gym machines) to the Club Manager.

• Follow the “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in any found property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous custodial/janitorial experience is preferred.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the third shift.

• Strong work ethic with honesty and integrity.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the spot.

• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand and walk continuously during the shift.

• Frequent reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.

• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching.

• Ability to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and substances.
