Planet Fitness is hiring for Club Service Associate

Tasked with boosting new member acquisitions and building a welcoming member setting through outstanding customer service provided to both existing members, potential members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and connect with potential members, aiming to offer a top-notch customer experience.

Handle front desk related tasks:

• Responsibly handle incoming calls by providing helpful responses to address any inquiries or problems.
• Conduct tours of the gym while responding to phone inquiries.
• Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and update member account information.

• Manage member service challenges and queries; escalate to higher-ranking staff as needed.
• Support efforts to ensure the club remains clean and well-kept.

• Customer Service:Exceptional customer service requires exceeding expectations through superior communication and interaction with customers, coworkers, and the general public.
• Listening:Utilize active listening and empathy to collaboratively address and resolve customer issues.
• Problem Solving:Seeking assistance when necessary entails reaching out for support and guidance from others who may have expertise or insights to offer.
• Diplomacy:The art of diplomacy involves utilizing tactfulness and maintaining a high level of professionalism in interactions.
• Communication:Timely and efficient communication with supervisors is essential for addressing questions or problems effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• Integrity and a diligent work approach go hand in hand.
• Proficiency in handling customer inquiries adeptly.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Demands

• The task involves being up and moving for at least 75% of the shift duration.
• Participating in discussions through phone calls or face-to-face interactions for the majority of the designated work hours.
• Proficient in handling weights of up to 50 lbs. less frequently than 30% of the time.
