Service Technician

Planet Fitness is hiring for Service Technician

The Service Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain fitness equipment

• Complete preventative maintenance on cardio and strength exercise equipment

• Maintain multiple gym facilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience repairing and maintaining equipment preferred

• Punctuality and reliability are essential

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong time management skills

• Ability to travel 80% within NYC, 20% within Westchester/Rockland

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work flexible and overnight hours

• Honesty and exceptional work ethic

• Ability to solve problems independently

• Demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Valid Driver’s License required

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift

• Frequent reaching with hands, fingers, and arms

• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching

• Must occasionally lift over 80 pounds

• May encounter toxic chemicals occasionally

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
