Planet Fitness is hiring for Guest Services Representative

As a Guest Services Representative, the main duty is to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere and deliver top-notch customer service to Planet Fitness members, potential members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Extend a warm greeting to both existing and potential members, as well as any visitors, by delivering exceptional customer service.

Handle all front desk related activities including:

• Assist callers in a friendly demeanor and address a variety of queries.
• Add people to the system for check-in purposes.
• New member sign-up.
• Conduct tours for those considering membership.
• Aid in updating member accounts promptly.

• Responsively deal with member concerns and questions in a professional manner, involving Assistant Managers or Managers if the situation calls for it.
• Aid in ensuring the club remains orderly and spotless.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Candidates with a history of excellent customer service are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Being deeply committed to fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
• A sunny and hopeful approach.
• Timeliness and trustworthiness are non-negotiable.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding member expectations.
• Excellent at listening attentively and showing empathy to assist in problem resolution.
• Exhibit tactfulness and courtesy in every interaction, ensuring appropriate behavior and communication.
• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or meet an equivalent GED standard.
• Participants must have reached the age of 18 or above.

Physical Demands

• Continuous standing and walking expected throughout the shift.
• Constant communication through face-to-face interactions or phone calls while on duty.
• Required to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs from time to time.
• Employees may face exposure to noxious compounds at times during their shifts.
