District Manager

Planet Fitness is hiring for District Manager

As a District Manager at Planet Fitness, you will oversee all operations within your assigned district, managing 3 to 8 Planet Fitness locations. You will be responsible for leading and supporting Club Managers while ensuring each club delivers an outstanding member experience and maintains operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain an exceptional and consistent customer experience across all clubs within the district.

• Analyze club KPIs to identify issues and develop corrective action plans alongside Club Managers.

Ensure operational consistency in all clubs, focusing on:

• Outstanding member experience

• Compliance with Planet Fitness and PF Baseline Fitness brand standards

• Club cleanliness and maintenance

• Implementation of member and HR policies

• Payroll and front desk management

• Facility maintenance and repairs

• Vendor relationships and inventory management

• Recruit, coach, develop, evaluate, and when necessary, discipline Club Managers in the district.

• Train and develop staff to create a strong pipeline for future Club Manager roles.

• Conduct monthly club facility BER inspections and oversee Club Manager bonus documentation.

• Maintain effective communication with all district operations personnel, especially Club Managers.

• Coordinate and manage District PE at PF programs, including hiring, training, weekly planning, tracking classes, and managing monthly Trainer calls.

• Ensure full operational coverage of all district clubs; step in as Club Manager when needed.

• Manage all incoming complaints and mystery shop feedback from district locations promptly.

• Support employee recognition initiatives and contribute to advancement opportunities within the district.
