About the Role: Front Desk Associate

As a Front Desk Associate, you will provide outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming Judgement Free Zone® experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club, answering questions and assisting with check-ins

• Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the floor and supporting their fitness journeys while enforcing club policies

• Resolve member concerns or escalate to management when necessary

• Answer phones with a friendly demeanor and assist callers with inquiries

• Handle membership tasks such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, billing, and transfers

• Conduct prospective member tours and calls, assessing their needs

• Process retail transactions accurately and support sales goals

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, restrooms, and common areas

• Conduct regular facility walks to address safety, policy, and cleanliness issues

• Report and help resolve maintenance concerns like broken equipment or facility repairs

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred

• Willingness to become CPR/AED certified (training provided)

• Basic computer skills
