Role and Responsibilities:
This role is essential in fostering a customer-driven environment and supporting the day-to-day operations and development of the store team.
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with customers professionally and addressing concerns effectively.
- Coach and develop Pawnbrokers to ensure compliance with company performance standards.
- Source new team members through approved recruitment methods.
- Manage opening and closing duties, including cash handling and securing inventory.
- Apply inventory control practices and ensure asset protection policies are upheld.
- Supervise merchandising, loan operations, and visual presentation of the store.
- Review financial reports and define actionable goals to improve store profitability.
- Ensure operational practices meet or surpass company standards and regulations.
- Guarantee accurate assessments for loan approvals and product evaluations.
- Lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Complete training requirements and communicate key business objectives to staff.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of six (6+) months in a leadership or keyholder position.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing.
- Self-driven and able to operate with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with basic computer functions and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated accuracy in handling cash transactions.
- Comfortable around firearms and willing to complete certification as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in retail leadership, sales, or inventory management.
- Experience setting financial targets and analyzing profitability.
- Ability to work at different store locations based on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications (based on a 40-hour workweek).
- Opportunity to earn commission between 2% and 8%, depending on gross profit performance.
- Average additional income of $3.53 per hour through commissions.
