Role and Responsibilities:

This role is essential in fostering a customer-driven environment and supporting the day-to-day operations and development of the store team.

• Provide exceptional service by engaging with customers professionally and addressing concerns effectively.
• Coach and develop Pawnbrokers to ensure compliance with company performance standards.
• Source new team members through approved recruitment methods.
• Manage opening and closing duties, including cash handling and securing inventory.
• Apply inventory control practices and ensure asset protection policies are upheld.
• Supervise merchandising, loan operations, and visual presentation of the store.
• Review financial reports and define actionable goals to improve store profitability.
• Ensure operational practices meet or surpass company standards and regulations.
• Guarantee accurate assessments for loan approvals and product evaluations.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Complete training requirements and communicate key business objectives to staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of six (6+) months in a leadership or keyholder position.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing.
• Self-driven and able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with basic computer functions and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated accuracy in handling cash transactions.
• Comfortable around firearms and willing to complete certification as required.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in retail leadership, sales, or inventory management.
• Experience setting financial targets and analyzing profitability.
• Ability to work at different store locations based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications (based on a 40-hour workweek).
• Opportunity to earn commission between 2% and 8%, depending on gross profit performance.
• Average additional income of $3.53 per hour through commissions.
