As an Opener at Planet Fitness, you'll be the first face our members see when they walk in the door. Your energy and positivity help set the tone for their workout experience. You’ll ensure the club is clean, welcoming, and ready to go each morning, while providing excellent customer service and handling a variety of front desk duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Open the club on time and ensure everything is clean, operational, and welcoming for members.

• Greet all members and guests with warmth and enthusiasm.

• Answer phone calls and assist with membership questions, tours, and account updates.

• Handle front desk responsibilities such as member check-ins, cancellations, sign-ups, and basic billing inquiries.

• Keep the front lobby, restrooms, and workout areas clean and stocked.

• Promote a Judgement Free environment by upholding Planet Fitness standards and policies.

• Help resolve member concerns or escalate to management when needed.

• Support the team with additional tasks during slower periods (cleaning, stocking, organizing, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Comfortable using computers and basic office software.

• Previous front desk, retail, or service experience is a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to work early mornings (starting as early as 4:30 or 5:00 AM).

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

• Light lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, cleaning, and walking throughout the facility.
