Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Retail Supervisor in Training to help manage daily store functions while developing leadership capabilities for potential advancement to Store Manager. Key duties include:

• Providing high-quality customer service and resolving customer concerns effectively

• Assisting in the training, development, and performance management of team members

• Supporting recruitment, hiring, and employee onboarding activities

• Performing store opening and closing responsibilities, including cash handling and loan services

• Reviewing store financials to drive sales growth and profitability

• Maintaining inventory accuracy, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness

• Stepping into the Store Manager role when needed

• Participating in structured training programs to prepare for future leadership opportunities

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential

• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Flexible availability to work 45+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be 18 years or older with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Experience operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting

• Willingness to work at different store locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

• Previous experience handling firearms or relevant certifications is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $18.00–$24.00, depending on experience and store location

• Commission: Up to 8% of gross profit; average additional earnings of $4.21/hour

• Performance Bonuses: Based on achieving store performance targets

• Paid Time Off:

  • 1 week after 6 months

  • 2 weeks after 1 year

  • Up to 120 hours annually after 5 years

• Sick/Personal Time:

  • 8 hours after 6 months

  • 16 hours annually from years 2 to 5

  • 24 hours per year after 5 years
