Role and Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Worker at Dollar General, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our stores stay stocked and our customers stay happy. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential.

• Receive and Stock: Unload deliveries, inspect products for damage, and stock inventory in designated areas.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick merchandise using voice-directed or RF technology to fulfill store orders.
• Pallet Building: Build pallets with care to ensure product integrity during transport.
• Loading & Shipping: Load trailers with outgoing shipments, making sure everything is secure and ready to roll.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
• Teamwork: Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet productivity goals and resolve issues as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout your shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for 8–10 hours a day.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Familiarity with voice-directed picking systems or RF scanners.
